Intersectionality, a term coined by Kimberlé Crenshaw in 1989, is a critical place for us to understand our own relationship and connections to power/privilege in the multitude of identities, experiences, and lives we hold.
We are operating within so many interlocking and interwoven systems of oppression, and because no single oppressive system is isolated, we have to be intersectional in unlearning and undoing systems of harm.
